I'M BAAAACK!

THOUSAND YEARS OF PAIN!

i'll split one post into three instead, so that it'll be easier to read.

DAY ONE. 2ND AUGUST 2010

dad drove me to the airport..and i lost my singapore badge D:

luckily ms goh had an extra. :/

took group pictures, family photos, girl guide crew photos.

celebrity much? xD

checked in rucksack, 8.3kg not too bad.

i think ms goh & ms toh's bags had 15kg each. O.O

got our passport stamped, and wheeee!
-skipping the details-
went into the plane, cam-whored with desirae and ms goh. LOL. failed, hand too short. haha! there ->
desirae & i were rushing with name cards.
the meal.. hmm. fish was it? fish with sauce and fruits and bread and yoghurt. last to finish again xD
watched fallen angel and half of hancock , then fell asleep.
zzz.zzz. there goes the first day! :D

DAY TWO. 3RD AUGUST 2010

arrived at Narita airport.

two nice ladies came to receive us (:

took the new skyliner to saitama

choo choo! :D

taxied to the saitama girl scout council

aaaaaand! our first host meeting!

Chika and her mom came.

very young mom :/ 42 years old.

we introduced ourselves blahblah.

then had late breakfast.

got some patches and hand made items as souvenirs from the council.

and so, we all separated and followed the host family

one hour car drive.

oh, i met the father.

63 years old.

i love that family!

immediately after 'settling down' in the new environment,

they brought me out again.

saitama tour. IN A RICKSHAW!

many interesting shops around there.

then there was this shop where they sold knives and mini swords.

bought japanese sweets.

also ate shaved ice with condensed milk (:

then we walked to a mall.

her mom bought sashimi and oysters and clams for dinner.

D: *drooools*

oh yes! i saw the infamous square watermelon!

it's so expensive.

then we went around shopping streets before going home.

helped chika pack her bag for camping,

exchanged early gifts (:

her mom made us warm honey lemon to drink. YUM!

watched naruto, then we went to sleep.

zzz.zzz. there goes the second day!

DAY THREE. 4TH AUGUST 2010

went out early in the morning to chika's school

her mom drove there.

then we went to shinjuku, TOKYO!

ate udon and dango. YUUUM!

visited sekaido, a very very big stationary shop.

travelled to this pig place. everything pig.

then there were black pigs running around. HAH. so cute

played in the wooden playground.

after which i think we went for hot springs

there was cold and hot water.

stupid chika > < pushed me in the cold one.

then very cool. i screamed, there was echo. LOL

very nice scenery. it's out in the open.

(of course no photos for this one)

and sauna! it was mint flavour for the day.

and wthell. so hot!

got out after just 5 minutes.

washed up, and had dinner.

ate japanese hamburger. :D

then i had difficulty explaining red cross, npcc and ncc to them.

i didn't know how to say red cross in japanese. so i said "CPR."

and did some pumping and kissing action - -"

then they were like " aaaah! yes yes. "..... HAH.

then npcc i just said high school version of police,

and similarly, ncc is high school version of army.

....

heyy. unfair you know. all the hosts can speak english.

except for mine. -.-

then we went to a drug store, bought chocolates and sweets to bring and sneak them into camp. xD

watched your beautiful on the way back home(:

her mom made honey lemon for me to drink again.

i love her honey lemon! totally different taste from how my maid makes them. LOL

did last preparations for camp.

slept at 2am, when we were supposed to wake up at 4. HAHA!

zzz.zzz. there goes the third day! :D
